THE 100 DONOR CHALLENGE

In honor of Nydia's extraordinary commitment to Hostos and the 50th Anniversary of the College, we invite you to join us in The 100 Donor challenge. Our goal is to have 100 friends make a gift to one of four areas nearest and dearest to Nydia's heart. Together, our support will accelerate Hostos' momentum over the next 50 years and affirm that we will continue Nydia's legacy of giving back.

The Circle of 100 Fund - Gifts at the $1,000 and $5,000 level will support this initiative that Nydia co-founded to provide emergency grants to dedicated students who are nearing graduation. Donors at these levels will have their names added to The Tree of Life in the A-Atrium for a specific duration of time. Gifts of $5,000 and above are eligible to the creation of a new scholarship. The Alumni Relations Office - Donations at any level will support the work of the office that Nydia founded and will help to ensure that her legacy of commitment to our graduates continues at her standard of excellence.

The Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture (HCAC) - Honor Nydia's special connection to the HCAC by making a gift in support of diverse, dynamic artistic and cultural offerings presented to audience members from the South Bronx and beyond.

The Brighter Futures Sun Fund - The sun, which is Hostos' official logo, symbolizes the bright futures that Hostos makes possible and reflects Nydia's legacy of giving. During the reception, the new sun display will be officially unveiled on a prominent wall in the A-Atrium. Friends who give at the $10,000, $25,000, $50,000 or $100,000 level will have their name or their corporation's name inscribed on one of the sun's rays for a specific duration of time.
