Want to have a lasting impact at Hostos? You can create your own named scholarship with unique criteria or establish a memorial gift. Click here to learn more about Hostos' naming policies. 

Named Scholarships*:

Named Current Use Scholarship: With a gift of $5,000 or more, you can create a named scholarship to be awarded in the current fiscal year to students who meet specific award criteria.

Named Endowed Scholarship: With a gift of $50,000 or more, you can create a named, endowed scholarship that is awarded to students who meet specific award criteria. Your gift will be invested, producing annual revenue that supports students year after year – in perpetuity. This helps to ensure that generation after generation of Hostos students will have access to quality education that inspires lifelong learning and facilitates socioeconomic mobility.

SPECIAL NOTE: For a limited time, new gifts and pledges for endowment that meet certain criteria and minimums may be eligible for a 25% match provided by City University of New York (CUNY). This match may be added to the principal of your scholarship.

Tribute Or Memorial Giving:

A gift to Hostos Community College Foundation is a wonderful way to honor and recognize former professor, student or staff member and celebrate their legacy at the College.
